The Next NMGMS meeting is scheduled for Saturday, February 10, 2024. The meeting will be upstairs at the Tupelo library from 1 to 3 p.m. Program: Guest speaker, Mike Harrison, Southeast Federation Youth Advisor. Learn about minerals and how to identify them. Let’s see how many you already know!

Rockheads can use this for the FRA Rocks and Minerals badge, #1. Don’t miss it!

Since Garnet is the gemstone for January and Amethyst is the stone for February, let’s have a “show and tell” table. Bring any garnet and/or amethyst specimens you would like to display. Let’s have a pretty showing! Refreshments are “potluck”, so members are asked to bring something.
